Second Annual Ramadan "Night-In"

As you may know, the Islamic month of Ramadan begins August 11 (depending on the moon of course). Friends of Jordan is asking members and interested individuals to reflect on their experiences in Jordan and continue to serve the Jordanian people by participating in our Second Annual Ramadan “Night-In” Fundraising Event.

During the next four weeks of Ramadan, take time out from your daily routine to reflect on how your relationship with the Jordanian people has enriched your life. Maybe you served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Jordan, or maybe you have friends or family members who are living in Jordan or did so in the past. Please set aside time this month to write, e-mail, or call your former Jordanian counterparts and RPCV friends.

In order to continue serving the people of Jordan through our Small Grants Program, Friends of Jordan is hosting its “Night-In” Fundraiser on Saturday, August 14th. Having a “Night-In” is a simple way to show your continued support of our organization and the people of Jordan.

The Jordanian Film “Captain Abu Raed” is available on DVD is now available for pre-order.

The DVD comes out across the US on February 23.
