Small Grants

The Friends of Jordan Association offers up to $150 in direct financial assistance to Peace Corps Volunteers currently serving in Jordan to support community-based projects or activities. Friends of Jordan can issue a grant directly to a recipient’s Jordan Housing Bank account. Upon completion, Friends of Jordan requires the recipient to email a brief project report and digital photos (if any) taken of (and preferably during) the activity.

The Small Grants Program objectives are to promote grassroots community development, cultural exchange, environmental beautification, learning opportunities, or provide services for Jordanian communities in need; keep Friends ofJordan members up to date on Peace Corps Volunteer activities in Jordan; and help Jordan Peace Corps Volunteers achieve Peace Corps’ three goals — to provide trained men and women, promote a better understanding of Americans, and promote a better understanding of other peoples on the part of Americans.
