Useful Phrases

Arabic is an interesting, fun, and arguably difficult language. The accent and dialect of the city varies quite a bit from that of the village, and the way people speak in the north of the country is not the same in the south.

We hope to create an Arabic language resource here for those interested in learning some useful phrases. Whether you are headed to Jordan as a new Peace Corps Volunteer, a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer trying to remember a few things, headed to Jordan on holiday, or just curious, we hope to put together something useful for you here.

In the meantime you can check out the Peace Corps Jordanian Arabic Language on iTunes.
